How are these sent to you?
We harvest the fresh banana corm/rhizome as a roughly 40cm stump, in November when the soil is warmer. It will have roots attached. The corm will send up leaves within weeks, or sometimes it will have leaves. This method means your chance of your banana fruiting sooner is higher than a smaller banana pup (in the right conditions) as these plants have already gained growth in the past year.
It will come boxed to you in November via courier. It pays to get these in the ground as soon as you can to take advantage of the growing season over spring/summer.
